Philanthropy

The V Foundation for Cancer Research is Delta Chi’s national philanthropy. Delta Chi’s across the country are proud to support ESPN’s Dick Vitale and his tireless effort to raise more than $2 million each year for pediatric cancer research grants. Since 2006, Delta Chi has raised more than $1,300,000 for The V Foundation.

At K-State, Delta Chi hosts philanthropy events each semester, often in partnership with other fraternities and sororities. From cookouts to basketball tournaments, we are proud to have raised thousands of dollars for cancer research! 

The V Foundation

Since 2006, undergraduate and alumni members of Delta Chi have joined forces to fight cancer with The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Each year, our chapters host various fundraising events and educate their members and campus communities on the importance of philanthropic giving to support cancer research. Our strong partnership with The V Foundation allows each donor to make a greater impact on finding cures for cancer than they could ever do on their own.

Community Service

Delta Chis are proactive leaders both on campus and in our communities. We encourage each brother to contribute at least 10 hours per semester to serving the community. In 2019, Delta Chi members contributed 1,680 hours to projects including blood drives, recycling centers, and food pantries.
