Capital Campaign
House Corp. Purchases Apartment
After two years of fundraising, touring apartments in Manhattan, and putting everything on pause during a pandemic, we are excited to announce that we have purchased a property for the Chapter, ONE YEAR ahead of schedule! The apartment is located at 801 Moro St. on the southeast side of campus.
We have raised $610,000 with a fundraising goal of $700,000 that is within reach. Hitting that minimum amount will give the chapter financial flexibility and allow us to keep rent at a fair rate. The matching fund is still in in progress, so all donations will be matched up to $100,000. Your support will also help fund the transformation and renovation of the common space, academic study space, and purchase of furniture. While we have secured the property, there is still work to be done.
